Our latest mix comes all the way from Georgia, USA courtesy of Cc, also known as C Powers. Having spent time in Chicago and London, Chris now holds it down in the Southern states as a resident at Atlanta’s Hunger club night and Savannah’s Safe // Sound.
We hope we don’t have to tell you that Ralph Cumbers AKA Bass Clef is one of the most inspired, bloody-minded producers out there. What not so many people know is that Ralph’s a serious DJ. We’re very happy to welcome him to our mix series with a set entitled ‘Grime Fairy Tales’.
We spent half of last year wanting to get Randomer down to Wifey without managing to do so, so we’re hyped to have him play for us at The Waiting Room. He’ll be joined by Lee Gamble, who made one of last year’s most welcome breakthroughs with everyone from The Wire magazine to Boiler Room getting behind his work for the PAN label. Tickets available from Resident Advisor – £4 for a limited time.

Wifey resident Robin recently launched his new label with this EP from Spatial. Boomkat says: “Niche ‘n Bump carves out it’s place in the London sound with three specials from Spatial. You might not have heard of Traxmatik. A year ago we hadn’t, until his productions started lighting up our inbox. Since then we’ve heard him constantly experimenting, with better and better results. Read a quick Q&A and download an exclusive Jeremih edit from him here.
Mix number 10 comes straight from the latest member of the Wifey crew: Badga Tek. Pure garage stompers end to end!
We’ve finally managed to get the fantastic Maya Nightwave down to The Alibi. She’ll be joined on the night by Traxmatik, Ralph LTF, Robn and Badga Tek
